The four colors make it easy to monitor four steaks to varying temperatures: rare, medium, medium- well and well- done. As a dual function, when the thermometers are rotated they will read the individual temperature for: poultry, beef, lamb and pork. For example, the thermometer with the green shading can be turned around and used as a beef thermometer, the blue thermometer is also the lamb thermometer and so on.  Either way you use them, the display is clear and easy to read.  The thermometers are extremely precise thanks to a highly sensitive and long lasting sensor, and are calibrated to a 10th of a degree.
